Success at Business After Five
Miss Oelwein, along with 100 guests, toured City Workplace Uniform and Mats at their Business After Hours Event on June 17, 2015.
“We always enjoy showing our community support and we had an awesome turnout,” Vice President and General Manager Colin Wetlaufer said. “Everyone who went on a tour learned something new about the company that has been in Oelwein for over 100 years.”
At the event, CITY recognized the Oelwein businesses they partner with.
“We wanted to educate the community members on what we do and how we do it. We also wanted to show how we help businesses right here in town,” said Human Resource Specialist Melissa Stewart.
“If we have the opportunity to promote our customers, we are going to take advantage of it.”
On display were custom logo mats from East Penn and uniforms from a variety of Oelwein businesses. Prizes were given away for the individual who could identify each uniform with its company.
“Overall, it was a lot of fun to host this event, but we would not be able to do things like this if it was not for our employees and community.” Wetlaufer said. “We are very thankful for those who have been supportive and loyal to CITY.”
