Trust is Our Fuel

For a long time, having the content or the positive word of mouth to get your name out there was good enough to make or break your business.

Yes, having educated customers and prospects is important, but content and public relations are simply two of the many ways to convey the real message: TRUST.

Customer Testimonial: Kryton

It’s a hard reality, but deep down most customers and prospects have their own business to really care about and could care less about us. Or maybe they really do care. It all depends on the level of trust.

Outside of the business world, you would not randomly go up to a new friend and ask, ”Hey do you trust me?” No, you earn that trust by continuing to show it and work to prove it on a daily basis. You admit to your flaws, you ask for forgiveness when you make a mistake and you want to share the praise when you accomplish your goals.

It can be hard enough to build a relationship with one person alone let alone the 10, 100, and 10,000 people.

Instead of being overwhelmed with all of these numbers, it is important to focus on one person at a time and show them why you make a difference in their life at that given moment.

That is the model we encourage in our employees at City Workplace Uniforms and Mats.  We take ownership of any mistakes and work hard to find a solution and to be the most responsive launderer in Iowa.

We continue to invest in new technology to be more efficient with everyday tasks because we are always looking for new ways to improve our product and our service so that trust can be earned.

Trust occurs by showcasing long-term views far beyond the closing of a sale. Trust is built on listening, talking, connecting and listening again. It is also built on identifying your weaknesses as much as your strengths.

By continuing to prove yourself over and over on a daily basis earns that trust, and trust is what is going to fuel our company for years or even decades DOWN THE ROAD!
