Keeping the Tradition Alive 11/16/16
For over 50+ years, CITY has been committed to one particular project. A tradition that many CITY customer rely on year after year.
At the beginning of each year, calendar themes are the topic of discussion.
This year, it was decided that we wanted to engage with a larger audience with our calendar campaign. CITY currently hands out roughly 5,000 calendars to customers, prospects, and employees.
Besides creating a calendar that is appealing to the eye, it was decided that we will highlight an area most Iowans can relate to: hard working hands.
Whether it is working hard yourself, watching your family members get dirty, or stopping at a convenience store and walking past someone who has clearly put a hard days work in, Iowans know what hard work looks like.
At CITY, we are exposed to many different industries and we decided to create a calendar based on the hard working hands within these industries.
Each month shows working hands in the midst of their work. The names of the customers were specifically not listed in the calendar because CITY will be publishing a feature story about the customer spotlighted during that month on the company blog and on CITY’s social media channels. The purpose of this is to create new engaging content each month.
The feature story will tell the story of the customer and an album will be created with all of the working hands photos that were captured at each customer photo shoot.
If anyone would like to be a part of the CITY calendar tradition, please go to our contact us page and fill out an inquiry to receive a calendar.
