After breaking ground, Prestage Foods of Iowa has made the decision to partner with CITY next fall when they open in Eagle Grove, Iowa.

“We couldn’t be more excited about this partnership,” President Colin Wetlaufer said.

“Prestage is exactly the type of company we want to partner with due to their outstanding tradition of culture, values, and being at the forefront of their industry.”

This partnership will have one route service representative dedicated to CITY’s new client, servicing them with uniforms, mats, and other facility products six days a week.

After working alongside Prestage’s Business Development Analyst Terry Friesth, Wetlaufer said once they are at full capacity, they will permanently employ approximately 1000 people.

“We chose to partner with CITY for a number of reasons,” Friesth said. “From the start of the proposal process until the execution of contract [Sales Manager] Chriss, Colin, and the CITY team demonstrated the professional yet personal service we can expect from CITY. I can’t say enough good things about how well the CITY family business culture and commitment to excellence mirror our own operating philosophy within the Prestage family of companies.”

CITY identified this family-owned company and with this new partnership, over 20 percent of CITY’s revenue comes from food processing facilities.

“Being a family-owned company,” Wetlafuer said “We love to work with growing companies so they can focus on their business while we focus on their managed services.
