PRESS RELEASE – Making Company History
POLK CITY – You are invited to celebrate the opening of CITY Clean and Simple’s new facility in Polk City, Iowa. This is the first expansion built to support CITY’s growing service area. The industrial laundering company, headquartered in Oelwein, Iowa, started servicing the Des Moines metropolitan area eight years ago when President Colin Wetlaufer realized the need for a local uniform and floor mat provider.
“We are an Iowa-based provider who focuses on the quality of service. We are growing a lot of sales in the area just based off word-of-mouth,” Wetlaufer said. “I am excited to ask, when will Des Moines [and the surrounding area’s product volume] be bigger than Oelwein’s?”
When: Monday, June 25th at 10:00 a.m.
Where: 130 East Vista Lake Avenue
Polk City, IA 50226
Attendees:
Colin Wetlaufer, President of CITY
Mark Ballo, Des Moines Regional Manager of CITY
Jason Morse, Polk City Mayor
Josh Maclean, Polk City Chamber & Economic Development Board President
Reed Festing-Smith, Project Manager of Estes Construction
Merle Allen, Site Superintendent of Estes Construction
This ceremony will commemorate the construction of the building as well as the company’s overall business growth in the Des Moines and surrounding area. Following the ceremony, there will be a reception at The Reising Sun Café in Polk City, Iowa.
This event is open to the general public.
