Recently Barilla Pasta was able to complete several urgent projects at their plant in Ames, Iowa because of the fast and diligent work of CITY’s sales and service team.

“What’s really cool about Barilla to me is that we are looked at as a valued and trusted advisor and partner,” Mark Ballo, CITY’s Des Moines regional manager said.

Because Ballo’s longstanding relationship with Barilla and the care and attention to detail he puts in his work, Barilla decided to reward all 100+ CITY employees with their company’s premium authentic Italian pasta as a token of their appreciation to CITY.

“It’s about the level of partnership. They felt enough of a level of partnership to give us something for it other than a payment. They wanted to do something out of the norm for all of us because of our relationship. That doesn’t happen very often,” Ballo said.

Barilla opened its Ames plant in 1998 and has been with CITY since 2013.
