Solar panels are pretty incredible when you think about it. They take sunlight—something we have in abundance—and turn it into electricity without producing harmful emissions. How CITY Laundering’s Solar Panel System is Making an Impact

Our solar setup includes 850 solar panels with a total capacity of 301.53 kW. That’s a big step for our company, but what does that really mean in terms of impact?

In short, it means we’re making significant progress toward cleaner energy and lower emissions. Our system generates around 440,233 MWh of power each year, which adds up to big savings for the environment:

1. It’s like cutting out 18,029 gallons of diesel fuel every year.
2. Or like not burning 20,652 gallons of gasoline.
3. It’s also the equivalent of powering 36 homes for a whole year.
4. Plus, it could fully charge over 12 million smartphones!
