The People Behind CITY Wins

Behind every signed customer service agreement at CITY is something you will not find anywhere in the paperwork: a group of people who pulled together to get it across the finish line. The bigger the account, the more true that becomes.

“It takes a team,” said Chriss Carsello, Senior Customer Care Manager. “Companies want to know not only who is making the sale, but who they are going to be working with afterward. You are not just selling the service. You are selling the entire company.”

Chriss has been with CITY for over 15 years and has seen what it takes to complete the sale, and now in his new role, be there for the customer to ensure their satisfaction is being met.

“It is always fun to win big accounts, but as Chriss mentioned, accounts at a certain size require more energy, more people to get across the finish line,” said Emily Hauber, Director of Communication. “When that signed contract is officially done, it is proof that we can do big things when we are all focused on the same goal.”

You Are Selling the Whole Company

A prospect deciding between providers is not only weighing price and product. They are asking a bigger question: what will it actually be like to work with these people once the ink is dry? That is why the sale is never a solo act. It is the sales team, customer care, service, and every person a customer will eventually rely on, all showing up as one company.

That promise does not end at signing. In many ways, it begins there.

Big Wins Are a Team Effort

Landing a large account is a milestone worth celebrating, and Emily is quick to point out that the celebration belongs to everyone who helped make it happen.

The energy it takes to win a major account, the coordination, the follow-through, the willingness to go the extra mile, is the same energy that keeps that account happy for years. A win like that is not just a number on a board. It is evidence of what a focused, aligned team can accomplish together.

Not Just Another Account

For Chriss, the moment an agreement is signed is not a finish line at all. It is a beginning, and it comes with a responsibility that the whole team takes to heart.

“They are not just another account,” Chriss said. “They are now part of CITY. I want them to receive not only the service they require, but the service they deserve.”

That is the difference between selling a service and welcoming a partner. At CITY, every new customer is joining something, and the team behind the contract is committed to making sure they feel it from day one.
