Critical Control Points: Enhancing Transparency at CITY

At CITY, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and transparency in our operations. Our Quality Management process is anchored by four Critical Control Points (CCPs), which are vital “checkpoints” that ensure every garment we handle meets our stringent requirements and, more importantly, the expectations of our customers. Here’s a closer look at each CCP and how they foster a culture of transparency and trust.

CCP #1: Wash Prep

The journey of quality management begins with the Wash Prep stage. Here, products are unloaded and sorted with precision, setting the stage for the cleaning process. This initial step is crucial as it prepares garments for a thorough wash, ensuring that all items are appropriately categorized and treated according to their specific needs.

CCP #2: Wash Process

Our Wash Process is where the magic happens. Each garment undergoes a 25-minute wash at a minimum of 160 degrees Fahrenheit. This high temperature, combined with our automated and precise chemical injection system that includes a 10-15% bleach solution, guarantees a deep clean that meets health and safety standards while protecting the fabric integrity.

CCP #3: Inspection

Post-wash, each garment is subjected to a rigorous 10-point inspection to check for any damages or repairs needed. Only garments that meet our high standards proceed to the next stage — pressing or steaming in a steam tunnel, which operates at a minimum of 270 degrees Fahrenheit. This meticulous inspection process ensures that only the best-quality garments make it to the final stages of our quality management process.

CCP #4: Garment Prep & Delivery 

The final checkpoint involves preparing and loading garments for redelivery. This stage is tailored to meet the specific requirements of our customers, ensuring that each order is processed and delivered consistently and in perfect condition. This step not only emphasizes our commitment to quality but also underscores our dedication to customer satisfaction and transparency.
