Jordan Kurth, the Office Manager at CITY Laundering, is more than just a cog in the corporate machine; he’s a pivotal force driving the office’s daily rhythm.

In a recent interview, Jordan shared insights into his role and the culture of his workplace, providing a glimpse into the daily life that fuels the company’s operations. Managing everything from payroll to accounting, Jordan finds joy in the diversity of his daily tasks. “I really enjoy having something different to work on every day,” said Jordan.

Journey to CITY

His entry into the company was as unique as his role, involving a serendipitous interview mix-up that landed him the position. This twist of fate wasn’t just a step through the door but a leap into a role where he could truly make a difference. The job shadowing day that followed his initial interviews confirmed for both Jordan and CITY Laundering that they were a perfect match. “I interviewed with Mark Ballo [CITY’s Director of Service] first, which I learned is unique for office employees. But it really helped me get a good idea of the operations and customer types that CITY services. He got to know me as well, so it all worked out,” said Jordan.

Jordan is a firm believer in the power of a positive, family-like work environment, stating, “I was looking for more of a family atmosphere because I feel like people work better in an atmosphere like that.” His approach enhances teamwork and boosts overall productivity, fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and integral to the company’s success.

Jordan’s story to CITY shares the importance of aligning personal values with the broader corporate culture. Through his leadership and daily management, he ensures that CITY Laundering is not just a place to work, but a place to thrive.
